Faux Grass

Many people around Australia are making the move to Synthetic Grass as they are sick and tired of the maintenance and the look of it when it's attaked by beetles or lack of water due to the drought.  While some neighbours in some areas may not be keen for people to do it as it is different, as time goes by many are starting to change their minds as they are seeing the benefits.

Synthetic Lawn or also known as faux grass has improved over the years and as time and technology continue the quality synthetic grass is getting better, it looks real and feels real.  The prediction is that there will be significant rise in residential households moving to synthetic lawn as it's cost effective and time saving.

However in some more posh areas around Australia residents prefer natural grass and they find synthetic grass tacky and in some suburbs synthetic grass has been banned.  Synthetic Grass is not for everyone, but with the quality of it these days and if laid by a professional it can be very real looking, to the point you wouldn't know the difference.

The benefits of having synthetic lawn are great for the environment; it's water saving, no fertilisation, great for children with allergies, no mud and no more dead patches.  It gives people back their personal time on the weekend to spend with their family and not mowing, raking, fertilising, trimming edges and watering their lawn.

If you choose artificial grass, there is a variety of looks and colours to choose from, just like when choosing they type of real grass you want.

The background to Synthetic Grass was made popular back in the 1970's when sporting associations for cricket and football decided to install it.

Everyone has their own preference on what they want, so they need to do their research and choose which one suits them best, whether it is Synthetic Grass or natural grass.
